2 cups fresh broccoli florets (or 1 cup frozen, thawed)

6 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1/2 cup diced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for a bit of warmth)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.

    Prepare the Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets for about 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still vibrant green. Drain and set aside. If using frozen broccoli, ensure it’s fully thawed and drained.

      Sauté Onion and Garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sauté the diced onion for about 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and stir for an additional minute until fragrant. Remove from heat.

        Mix the Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.

          Combine Ingredients: Add the steamed broccoli, sautéed onion and garlic, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese to the egg mixture. Fold everything together gently until the broccoli and cheese are evenly distributed.

            Pour into Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

              Bake: Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is lightly golden.
