Chicken Wraps with Garlic and Cheese

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil)

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)

1 cup lettuce, shredded

1/2 cup tomatoes, diced

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

Olive oil for drizzling

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and the chicken is evenly coated.

    Add Cheese: Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, reserving a small handful for topping.

      Warm the Tortillas: In a skillet over medium heat, warm each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. This makes them easier to roll.

        Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous portion of the chicken mixture in the center of the tortilla. Sprinkle some lettuce, diced tomatoes, and green onions on top if using.

          Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up to encase the filling. Ensure it’s tightly wrapped. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

            Toast the Wraps (optional): In the same skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Carefully flip and toast the other side, adding more oil if necessary.
