3/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

      Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

        Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.
