Ingredients

For the Bars:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1-2 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.

Make the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and softened butter until it forms a paste.

Layer the Mixtures: Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Dollop the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter, swirling it gently with a knife or a toothpick to create a marbled effect. Pour the remaining batter on top and smooth the surface.

Bake the Bars: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bars cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Frosting: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until well combined. If the frosting is too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.

Frost the Bars: Once the bars are completely cool, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly on top. Cut into squares and serve.

Enjoy: Enjoy your delicious Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars warm or at room temperature!
