8 chicken drumsticks

1/4 cup olive oil

5 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 large lemon

Juice of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk everything together until well blended.

    Marinate the Drumsticks: Place the chicken drumsticks in a large resealable plastic bag or a deep dish. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate.

      Preheat the Oven: When ready to cook, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

        Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help to achieve maximum crispiness. Lightly grease the wire rack with cooking spray or olive oil.
