Crockpot Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: 1 cup spinach (fresh or frozen)

Instructions
 

Season the Chicken: Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Rub the seasonings on both sides of the chicken for even coverage.

    Sauté Garlic: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

      Layer Ingredients in the Crockpot: Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the sautéed garlic and olive oil over the chicken.

        Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

          Combine and Cook: Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot. If you're using spinach, add it on top of the sauce mixture.
