1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, sea salt, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, melted butter, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk until well combined and the sugar is dissolved.

      Add the pecan halves to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated in the maple mixture.

        Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are evenly spaced to encourage even roasting.
