Ingredients

8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or egg noodles

1 lb (450 g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt & pepper, to taste

3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti or egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Steak: In a medium bowl, season the thinly sliced flank steak with salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned but still tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add 4 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine Sauces: Stir in the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chili flakes into the garlic butter. Let it bubble for about a minute to combine the flavors.

Mix in the Noodles: Add the cooked noodles into the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce until well-coated. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if necessary.

Add the Steak: Gently fold the seared steak back into the noodles, ensuring everything is mixed well and heated through.

Serve: Plate the Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles immediately, garnishing with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro if desired. Enjoy this quick and hearty dish!
