Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Steak: Add the steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding). Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until a nice crust forms and the steak is cooked to your desired doneness (medium-rare is typically best for steak bites).

Add Garlic Butter: Add the butter, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. As the butter melts, use a spoon to baste the steak cubes with the garlic butter sauce for an extra flavor boost.

Finish Cooking: After basting for another 1-2 minutes, once the garlic is fragrant but not burnt, remove the skillet from heat.

Serve: Transfer the steak bites to a serving plate. Pour any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the steak bites and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with your choice of sides. These steak bites are perfect with crusty bread, a fresh salad, or over rice.
