Ingredients

2 cups pretzel sticks

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup caramel candies (unwrapped)

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for garnishing)

1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped (optional)

1/4 cup mini chocolate candies (optional, for color)

Instructions

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet (about 9x13 inches) with parchment paper, making sure it hangs over the edges slightly for easy removal later.

Melt the Caramel: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Stir continuously until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Layer the Pretzels: Arrange the pretzel sticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are close together but not overlapping.

Drizzle with Caramel: Pour the melted caramel over the pretzels. Use a spatula to spread it evenly, allowing some pretzels to peek through.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring after each session, until completely melted and glossy.

Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel-covered pretzels, using a spatula to spread it uniformly.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle the chopped roasted peanuts and mini chocolate candies (if using) over the top, followed by a gentle sprinkle of sea salt for a pop of flavor.

Chill Until Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate and caramel are firm.

Break Into Pieces: Once set, lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment edges. Break into irregular pieces of desired size.

Store: Keep the salted caramel pretzel bark in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for longer freshness.
