Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup sriracha sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the marinade for basting later. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill or Pan: If you’re using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If cooking on a stove, heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking oil.

Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess sauce drip off. Place the chicken thighs on the grill or in the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). For a nice caramelized texture, add an extra minute or two per side as needed.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and allow it to rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before slicing. Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad to balance the heat and sweetness.
