Ingredients

For the Pizza Base:

2 large flour tortillas

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Refried Bean Layer:

1 can (15 oz) refried beans

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

For the Meat Layer:

1 pound ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey for a leaner option)

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Toppings:

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup diced green onions

1 cup sour cream

1 cup guacamole (optional)

Hot sauce (to taste)

Instructions

Prepare the Meat:

    - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.

      - Add chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the spices to absorb into the meat. Remove from heat and set aside.

        Make the Bean Mixture:

          - In a small saucepan, heat the refried beans over low heat. Stir in the taco seasoning and combine well. Remove from heat.

            Prep the Tortilla Base:

              - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

                - Brush one side of each flour tortilla with vegetable oil. Place them on a baking sheet, oiled side down.

                  Assemble the Pizza:

                    - Spread half of the refried beans evenly on one tortilla.

                      - Add half of the cooked ground beef over the beans.

                        - Sprinkle a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the meat layer.

                          - Carefully place the second tortilla on top, then repeat the layers on this tortilla using the remaining refried beans, ground beef, and cheese.

                            Bake:

                              - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tortillas are golden brown.

                                Final Toppings:

                                  - Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool for a minute.

                                    - Top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.

                                      - Drizzle sour cream all over the top, add guacamole if desired, and finish with your favorite hot sauce.

                                        Slice & Serve:

                                          - Cut the pizza into wedges and serve hot with extra sour cream or guacamole on the side for dipping.
