Ingredients

2 cups shredded cooked chicken (preferably rotisserie)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 bag (12 oz) tortilla chips

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup pickled jalapeños (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup diced red onions

1/4 cup sliced green onions (for garnish)

1/2 cup sour cream

1 avocado, diced

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Combine the chicken and BBQ sauce in a bowl, mixing well until the chicken is evenly coated. Set aside to marinate for a few minutes.

Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter. Ensure they are layered well to support the toppings.

Spoon the BBQ chicken mixture over the tortilla chips, distributing it as evenly as possible.

Sprinkle both cheeses (cheddar and Monterey Jack) evenly over the nachos.

Top with pickled jalapeños and diced red onions for a bit of extra flavor and crunch.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute.

Garnish with diced avocado, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro for a fresh touch.

Serve immediately with sour cream on the side for dipping.
